The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2005) – By Jason S. Lockard

The Crow: Wicked Prayer is the third sequel to follow Brandon Lee’s performance as The Crow. I guess we should expect nothing less than the sequels to be less spectacular than the originals! Let’s take a look at Wicked Prayer.

Jimmy Cuervo (Edward Furlong) is an ex-con and his girlfriend Lily plan on starting a new life together away from the Raven Aztec reservation in Lake Ravasu. The town is home to a group of Satanists and they murder Lily and Jimmy in a brutal ritual that they hope will bring the rebirth of the Anti-christ. The Crow returns Jimmy from the dead, Jimmy discovers his newfound invincibility and plans revenge.

The film kind of fails to capture the magic of the original as did all the sequels and the story was a little hard to follow. Also sadly there is no bonus features on this DVD, but the film quality is crisp and the DVD menus is easy to access which is always a plus.

So if your a fan of The Crow graphic novels this is not a bad way to see the film. It’s less the $7 on Echo Bridge Website! So you can head on over to and pick up your copy today!
