The Frenzy War (2012) – By Brian Morton

If you’re a regular reader of Rogue Cinema…and if you’re not…WHY??…then you know that back in 2010, I had the chance to read Greg Lamberson’s werewolf novel, The Frenzy Way. If you’re not familiar, check it out here, http://www.roguecinema.com/article2319.html. Well, two years have passed and the werewolves are back…and this time, its war.

Anthony Mace is back; he’s been demoted after the Manhattan Werewolf incident, and is just biding his time until retirement. But, now the Brotherhood Of Torquemada is in New York, looking to wipe out the werewolf population and start a war between humans and wolves! So, Mace is called back into action to try to find the Brotherhood before the wolves are exposed and all out war takes place on the streets of New York.

The Frenzy War is an amazing read; it’s truly a page turner. Lamberson writes in such a vivid style that The Frenzy War is more like a movie than a novel. Written as the second part of a planned series, I can honestly say that I can’t wait to see what comes next. I’m giving The Frenzy War 4 out of 4 cigars; it’s one of the best horror/action novels I’ve ever read. If you haven’t read either of these great books, do yourself a favor and head over to http://www.medallionpress.com and grab both of them and catch up!
