The Green Hornet Legacy #41 (2013) – By Jason S. Lockard

Brit Reid, The Daily Sentinel newspaper owner by day and masked vigilante, The Green Hornet by night! The Green Hornet has battled every kind of villain over his years so there couldn’t be any fresh material for The Green Hornet right? Wrong! Dynamite Comics has release The Green Hornet Legacy complete with a new threat he has never had to deal with before.

This issue with Green Hornet and other superhero characters in the cemeteries, the reason they are trying to stop a zombie uprising. Now this is completely fresh. To take advantage of the zombie craze going on in comics, tv and movie and to put our favorite vigilante in there! Great Idea! The only problem I have with it is the supporting cast! I realize you can’t go in alone, but were was Kato?! It was always Green Hornet and Kato!

This is the penultimate or second to last issue in the story arc, so if you pick this one up you don’t know what has gone on before, but it is still a pretty well paced and fun story to read. Phil Hester, Jai Nitz and Jethro Morales have worked together to bring a pretty interesting 32 page comic book.

In the final analysis I’m glad Dynamite comics have given one of my favorite characters a chance to shine once again. At only $3.99 it is not a bad price for 32 pages of Green Hornet goodness! So head over to and pick up a copy of The Green Hornet Legacy. You may want to start out at the beginning of this story arc as well!
