Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction or fantasy that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery. The new Jekyll Island chronicles graphic novel brings history and steampunk together.

The story takes place at the beginning of the twentieth century and presents an alternate historical timeline. The captains of industry like Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, Morgan and Carnegie all call the tiny Georgia island of Jekyll home. The illustrations by Moses Nester, with colors by S. J. Miller leap right off the page. The story by Steve Nedvidek, Ed Crowell and Jack Lowe moves along nicely and is a real page turner.
