The Picture of Dorian Dardar: GTO (2014) – By Brian Morton

Dorian Dardar’s movies are something very different. Now, that’s not necessarily good or bad, they’re just….different. His streak of originality continues with his latest, The Picture of Dorian Dardar: GTO.

The story here is about Dorian becoming a zen teacher. Most of the movie is Dorian doing exercises, it almost begins to feel like an exercise video after a while, but there are a couple of points that are fun, the ‘landlord’ who wants Dorian’s money and when Dorian begins his teaching career, but it takes quite a while to get there.

At just under 38 minutes, The Picture of Dorian Dardar: GTO still feels like it’s been padded out to that time, it’s just a bit long. It felt like you could have gotten it all in a lot less time, but that’s Dorian for you!

I’m giving The Picture of Dorian Dardar: GTO 3 out of 4 cigars, it’s a bit long, but it’s not terrible and there are moments that are fun. You can find out more and grab a copy for yourself by heading over to:
