The Terror Experiment (2012) – By Brian Morton

Terrorism has moved from the headlines to the B movies. And The Terror Experiment is just a sign of the times.

The story here is pretty simple; a federal building in L.A. where weaponized viruses are being produced comes under a terrorist attack. A toxic gas is released in the building and anyone below the eighth floor is turned into a mindless killing machine. Not a zombie…exactly…but close enough! So, anyone that tries to get out of the building must walk through the cloud and become infected too. So, a small band of survivors, led by Jason London have to find a way out before the government destroys the building to contain the outbreak.

There’s really nothing new here…or all that interesting. The Terror Experiment falls somewhere between zombie movie and government conspiracy movie…and does neither any justice. The actors all seem to be uninterested in the job and the story is so standard that you know what’s going to happen before it ever gets close!

I’m giving The Terror Experiment 2 out of 4 cigars, it’s probably a nice way to waste a Saturday afternoon, but if you’re looking for an interesting, or fun, sci-fi movie…then look somewhere else! You can check it out for yourself by heading over to
