The Three Stooges Triple Feature Volume One (1941-1959) – By Jason S. Lockard

The childlike antics of Moe, Larry and Curly was a big part of my childhood and I still enjoy them even to this day. The hair pulling, eye poking, face slapping fun was endless! The fun didn’t end when Curly retired either Shemp, Joe Besser and Finally Curly Joe Derita carried on the craziness. These guys were, are and always will be comic legends! Now Mill Creek Entertainment releases 3 classic films featuring the 3 Stooges on Blu-ray with; The Three Stooges Triple Feature Volume One! Let’s take a look at what is included in this set!

Our Rating System:

****=Don’t Miss it!
***=Worth a look.
**=An ok way to spend an evening.
*=You haven’t missed anything.

Time out for Rhythm (1941) – Kitty Brown, the maid of Frances Lewis, a nightclub star, gets after Frances’ fiancé forbids her to appear in the club, a Hollywood contract. (***)

Rockin’ through the Rockies (1945) – Prospector Shorty (Moe) hooks two vagrants (Larry and Curly) into investing in his gold mine after they accidentally win big at roulette. Note this is not the boys 1940 short film of the same name! (***)

Have Rocket, Will Travel (1959) – The Boys first feature film in which they accidental launch into space and land on a Venus and trouble and hilarity ensue. (***)

The films in this collection are extremely entertaining! The films have been restored to great quality when you take into consideration that the oldest film in this collection is over 70 year old!

I love these Mill Creek movie collections! I own lots if them myself and to be able to add the antics of The 3 Stooges on blu-ray a dream come true.
