Twilight Zone #1 (2014) – By Jason S. Lockard

Twilight Zone was one of my favorite tv shows from my childhood! I marveled at the stories and was thrilled at the twisted endings. Now Dynamite Comics has brought my childhood back with their newest release! Reviving one of my favorite shows in a new comic book series!

We start in the Big City, protected by Vampirella and the Green Hornet. A scarlet clad woman of mystery rushes into a bar, pursued by a team of assassins. The terror that breaks loose there and then will eventually lead (in the issues that follow) to The Phantom’s Jungle, Flash Gordon’s space age town of Landing, battles in the sky with Captain Victory, and so much more, until finally, we arrive in the Monstrous Lands, protected by… well, nobody.

The talents of writer J. Michael Straczynski, artwork by Guiu Vilanova and cover art by Francesco Francavilla bring the classic TV show back to life in brilliant vibrant color. This is just the first installment of a three issue story arch and I can’t wait to continue this story!

In the final analysis if you love the Twilight Zone stories this is an absolute must have! For only $3.99 it is a steal! So head over to to learn more about this release.
