Vikingdom (2013) – By Jason S. Lockard

Stories of Mythology have been told for generations! Stories of the great and mighty gods battling evil. Tales of warriors of Asgard. One such warrior is Thor the god of thunder! Epic Pictures brought us a new tale of Thor, but realise one things this in not Marvel’s Thor! Not even close!

Vikingdom follows The great Thor who is really upset about the growth of the Christian faith in which they follow Jehovah God the one true God! So he is gathers together ancient relics during The Blood Eclipse to take over all three kingdoms. They only one who stands in his way is an undead king named Eirick (Dominic Purcell of Prison Break) who journeys to Hell to recover the horn of Odin, which he can blow to send Thor back to the spirit realm where he belongs. Will he succeed or will Thor reign supreme? You’ll have to watch the film to find out!

Vikingdom wastes little time on story it is mostly action scenes much like that of the blockbuster 300. When you look at the budget they had to work with what Vikingdom brings to the screen is really impressive! Don’t go into this film thinking this is Lawrence of Arabia, it’s not. The story is a bit confussing, but the action is entertaining! Also included in this release is a making of feature taking you behind the scenes and trailer of this film and others from Epic Pictures!

So if you love action films about Viking warriors this film is one you need to check out! At only $14.99 for DVD it’s not a bad deal! So head over to or your local DVD provider and get your copy today.
